On 26th June 2010 I reached to Hariyana, with my family. My younger uncle’s family resides there, in Faridabad city. Where, we planed to go to Mathura next day. After taking rest, on 27th June 2010 I, my father, my mother, my father’s sister, my brother and my both cousin Rahul and Nisha departed for Mathura. We reached to station at 5 O’ clock morning we purchased ticket of a local train, the shuttle. Since Faridabad is not so far from Mathura there are many Shuttles for journey. We leave at Koshi Kalla railway station which is just before the Mathura railway station, some one said to my father that the birth place of Sri Krishna is situated here. So we arrived at Koshi Kala and reached to Sri Krishna janmsthali with that old man which was at just a stone through distance from railway station. This was so big temple, on the front gate the statue of two lions were placed, there was so high security at the gate our purse mobile phone were collected we had to passed through a high security checking after that we entered into the temple campus, then in main temple there was a high security the soldiers were posted on duty and highly alert with their weapons everywhere. Actually like Sri Ram birth place this place is also disputed because this place was also broken by mughals and builds a mosque there. Main place of temple is called Garbh Grih where lord Krishna was born, the jail of Kans. Total jail is not remain half of the jail have been converted into Mosque only the Garbh Grih is remain. We saw whole temple including Garbh Grih. After that we reached to Dwarka Dhish there were many small temples, we visited all temples then reached to the bank of Yamuna Ji where met to a priest, he told that this is the place where lord Krishna took rest while returning to Gokul after killing kans, there was a gate on the opposite bank of the Yamuna called Gokul dwar from where he returned to Gokul.
In Mathura every one greets to everybody by saying Radhey Radhey no namastey, no hello or shake hand so sweet this was!
After dwrika dhish we reached to Kaliya Ghat which is one of the Yamuna bank. There is that popular Kadamb tree is situated from where Krishna theft the clothes of bathing girls. I asked to a priest, who was sitting under the tree “Is this former Kadamb tree” he told no this was planted letter but at original place where former tree was situated.
We sit there for a while then reached to saw Nidivan this is the place where Lord Krishna made Maharas with gopies.we reached there on 2.30 pm. Nidhivan was closed somebody told us it will opened at 4 O’ clock so we decided to wait any where. At a stone through distance there was a small market we went there did shopping and spend our time and at 4 O’clock we reached to Nidhivan. There were so smallest trees in Nidhivan and some few temples also. We visited all the temples. It is said that till now at night Sri Krishna and gopies make maharas here all the trees become converted into gopies and no one can go to the temple at night.
After seeing Nidhivan we reached to Rang Nath temple I saw there golden and silver goods, golden statues of man and animals and golden and silver carts. There was a golden pillar middle of the temple. Golden statue of Krishna.Whole temple is made up of red stone and is so vast.
After seeing Rang Nath temple we reached to see Banke Bihari temple. There was lots of crowed for seeing Banke Bihari ji. From Banke bihari temple we reached to Scan temple this was the modern temple of Mathura which was made up of marbles and all the priest and the temple holder was foreigner the women were wearing sari or suit and men were wearing dhoti, janeu with bald headed and having a pony tail. There was so peace in scan temple.
The day had finished we had to return back to uncle’s home so this was our last temple in Mathura. Many places are remaining to visit like Barsana, Nandgaw etc. After that we reached to station to return back.
